You might have noticed we’ve been making some changes over the last few months. We’re always on the lookout for ways to make the Maraboon Tavern that you know and love, even better – which is why we’ve undertaken some exciting refurbishments.
We wanted to give our gem of a Tavern a bit of a polish, and enhance the atmosphere – because we love being your home away from home, for locals and visitors from interstate. We’ve put together a plan – our own little fixer-upper – to introduce a sophisticated yet social and entertaining space for the whole family to enjoy.
The Restaurant:
We’ve given the restaurant a makeover – new chairs, new tables, new floors, an upgrade to the bathrooms and most importantly a new bar!
The Sports Bar:
We reconfigured the layout (because a change is as good as a holiday) and added new carpet, and a fresh lick of paint. The entrance has had an upgrade (to get the party started) and so has the bar (to keep the party going).
We’ve also relocated the pool room so that you can play all day and night, whatever the weather. But don’t worry – that big screen hasn’t gone anywhere!
Maraboon Liquor Drive-Thru:
We’ve refreshed the Maraboon Liquor Drive-Thru layout, and given it a new coat of paint.
Gaming Lounge:
Another bar has been added to the mix to ensure your glass is never half empty, and your luck stays up. We’ve also added a new Keno lounge, new bathrooms and DOSA.
Outdoors Area:
The big finale – we hope this is one change you’ve noticed! We filled in the pool, giving us heaps more space for outdoor seating. We’ve also added a small kids’ play area to keep the little ones playing so you can stay longer.
Kids Zone:
We’ve unveiled a brand new, indoor and air-conditioned kids zone, with games, a soft play area, movie chill zone and more – including table tennis and wall scrabble for the big kids (parents can play too!).
We’ve also extended the gaming lounge area, and freshened up the functions room. We hope you’re loving the changes and have found more ways to enjoy our new and improved Maraboon Tavern!
